BOOKING YOUR APPOINTMENT

We look forward to you welcoming you to SABBYA and guiding you on your self-betterment journey. We highly encourage you to book your treatments as far in advance as possible to secure your ideal day and time.

You can reserve your appointment online [here], by telephone at 514-536-0255, or by visiting us in person at 1580 Saint Catherine Street East in Montreal. A valid credit card is required to confirm your booking.

Please inform us at the time of booking if you are planning to share time at the spa with a companion so we can endeavour to match your schedules.

 

CANCELLATION/NO SHOW POLICY

We understand that life happens. If you need to cancel your appointment, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice – though sooner is always better. Should we receive less than 24 hours of notification, or if you do not come to your appointment, your credit card may be charged for the full amount of your scheduled visit unless we find a replacement by the end of the day.

Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to change or reschedule an appointment, which can be done up to 24 hours in advance at no charge. We want every experience with SABBYA to be stress-free and will always do whatever we can to avoid charging missed bookings. 

Making an appointment at SABBYA is acknowledgement of the above cancellation policy.

 

RETAIL RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY

While we hope you will love our hand-selected items as much as we do, most SABBYA boutique items may be returned for a full refund within 15 days of purchase – with a receipt and in original condition. Products that have been visibly used or altered will not be eligible for a return. We do not exchange products, including for SABBYA credit or gift cards. 

 

GIFT CARDS

You cannot buy happiness. However, you can give the timeless joy of restoration, relaxation, and self-betterment.

SABBYA gift cards cannot be returned, refunded, exchanged, or transferred — nor can they be used to purchase another gift card. They must be redeemed for their full value within one visit, whether it be for services or merchandise. 

Gift cards for a specific service –or combination of services– will be honoured to cover the full cost for up to 12 months from the date of purchase. Following that period, they can be redeemed for their exact dollar value.

Please treat gift cards like cash; they are not replaceable if lost, stolen, or used without authorization.

 

MEDICAL HISTORY  

All SABBYA guests are required to fill out a General Medical History and Consent Form securely online prior to your appointment. Medical and advanced aesthetics treatments may require additional consent and pre/post-care forms, which will be sent to you by email automatically at the time of booking. If you do not have a chance to complete them prior to your appointment, they may be filled out on arrival.

Your health information is collected to promote a safe and healthy environment for our guests, to ensure continuity of information from one visit to the next, and to assist in customizing treatments to individual needs – particularly if there are medical issues or allergies which could have contraindications for certain products or services. This can be updated annually or at your convenience. Your health information is accessed only by the team members who are relevant to your appointment and is stored on a secure system. It is important that what you provide is complete and accurate; it is confidential and required by law.

 

CHECK-IN AND ARRIVAL

Our Saint Catherine Street East entrance is reserved exclusively for SABBYA guests, preserving our urban oasis. We asked that you arrive up to 60 minutes prior to your appointment start time, depending on your treatment. This will be communicated at the time of booking and confirmation.

 

LATE ARRIVALS

We never want you to feel stressed or disappointed so please arrive on time. Lateness may result in a shortened or rescheduled appointment, with applicable charges. Your treatment will end at the originally scheduled completion time so that the next guest will not be delayed. 

Should you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled booking time without calling to notify a member of our team, the appointment will be set to ‘No Show’ and will be subject to our cancellation policy.

 

ENVIRONMENT

Please support us in creating a tranquil environment for all by lowering your voice and silencing your mobile phone while at SABBYA. Lockers are provided for the convenience of guests using our water circuit. In order to protect privacy and engender safety, mobile phones and cameras are not permitted in the locker rooms or thermal areas.

 

WHAT TO BRING & WEAR

A robe and towel are provided for guests enjoying our water circuit. Please bring your own non-slip sandals, a swimsuit, and water bottle. 

For all massage and body treatments, a robe will be provided within the treatment cabins for changing prior to your service. Your body will be covered throughout your treatment, so it is your choice whether you disrobe completely or leave your undergarments on.

For pedicures, we suggest that you bring open-toed sandals to ensure your polish does not smudge before it hardens. While polish can dry quickly, it can take up to 12 hours to cure.

SABBYA is not responsible for lost or misplaced items. Please leave valuables at home.

 

THERAPISTS AND INSURANCE RECEIPTS

Our certified massage therapists can issue insurance receipts for applicable treatments. We offer both male and female therapists, subject to availability and timings. Please note any gender preferences when booking your appointment.

 

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS

Pedicure services are available to those 12 and older.  Our medical, aesthetic, massage, and body treatments are reserved for those over 18 years of age, unless authorized in advance by a manager. 

 

GRATUITIES

Gratuities are not included in the price of individual services, but are greatly appreciated by our team members. Envelopes are provided at reception for cash. Otherwise, you may add it to your bill following your treatment using a credit card.

PARKING AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

Street parking is the closest available parking option currently, though it is limited. There is also a paid parking lot located at 1275 Saint Christophe Street, which is approximately a 10-minute walk away.

Parking can be challenging in the area, especially on weekends and during the summer festival season. Please allow plenty of time to find a space in order to arrive on time for your appointment. 

If you are arriving by public transportation, both Papineau and Beaudry metro stations are within a five-minute walk.
