The Context

SABBYA is currently open in the vibrant and energetic Village neighborhood, just east of Montreal’s downtown core – near Pont Jacques Cartier and Papineau metro.

We are looking for Esthetician/beauty technician (salon) who are passionate about wellness, customer satisfaction, and being part of a team that will help them grow and glow in their career.

The Role

The esthetician/beauty technician plays a key role in SABBYA’s day-to-day operations. This role is crucial in providing appropriate recommendations to customers so that they can easily choose the services that meet their needs. You will work directly with patients seeking to improve their skin health and assess their specific needs.


Profil required

  • Quebec-certified esthetician with valid license/certification.
  • Up-to-date training and certifications.
  • Availability required on weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Thorough understanding of technologies and products used in medical aesthetics.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and listening skills.
  • Engaging personality and positive attitude.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and handle confidential information.
  • Customer-focused approach.
  • High level of professionalism.
  • Punctuality and rigorous organization.
  • Meticulous personal presentation and maintenance.
  • Team spirit.



  • Assess customers’ beauty needs through skin analysis and consultations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and treatments available at SABBYA and make recommendations to customers.
  • Perform a variety of aesthetic treatments, including:
    • Facial and body waxing (waxing, lollipop, threading and/or tweezing)
    • Facials, peels and skin rejuvenation treatments
    • Manicures and pedicures on natural nails
    • Eyelash and eyebrow tinting
    • Body treatments (exfoliation, wraps)
  • Be responsive to customer questions and concerns.
  • Offer exceptional experience to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Create an atmosphere in which customers feel comfortable and supported.
  • Maximize sales opportunities for each customer.
  • Maintain a clean, healthy and orderly work environment at all times.
  • Maintain an adequate inventory and ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Maintain / comply with all regulations concerning health and safety protocols.
  • Develop and propose ideas to increase brand awareness and enhance the patient’s experience within the spa.
  • Keep abreast of procedures, protocols, laws, regulations and training.
  • Any other related tasks.
