Sure, we can get away with a yoga retreat or go on holiday – but what about for all the other days? We need an escape. We need a sanctuary. Close enough for the care we need, designed with the tranquility and taste we desire.
Our singular and sublime wellness destination is rapidly becoming a not-so-hidden secret among the city’s changemakers. Our vision was a first-of-its-kind space that disrupts not only the local hospitality industry, but also what a cutting-edge medical aesthetics clinic and spa looks like. A harmony of beauty and balance.
Step into SABBYA
Our 8,000-square-foot space is both warm and welcoming, effortlessly pairing modern sophistication with timeless design. Raw, earthy materials like travertine ground our interior – made especially soothing with rounded archways drawing the eye into rooms bathed in natural sunlight and glowing in soft tones.
Capturing a sense of quiet luxury, our muted, minimal, and measured interiors were custom designed by Montreal firm Studio Lafleur. We took cues from tropical modernism, crafting an ageless environment that inspires relaxation today – and well past tomorrow. This is brought to life in a rich palette of washed-out terracotta, beiges and greiges, and given personality throughout with glass blocks and tactile materials.
Working with locally sourced materials and commissioning artwork from Quebec-made and based vendors, we pursued a conscious commitment to elevating both our space and sustainable vision. Small details can have a big impact, embodied in artisan-crafted, custom-coloured terrazzo, bespoke doors with fluted glass and lighting, and authentic Venetian plaster and micro-cement wall treatments – all from regional suppliers.
An elevated experience
Our space creates an inviting and dynamic atmosphere, quieting the mind and opening the heart to new ways to relax, recharge, and restore ourselves. SABBYA is home to medical aesthetic services, with custom-made treatment furniture – carefully considered to elevate an experience that is state-of-the-art, never sterile. 
Our vision for a singular hub then flows effortlessly into a spa and thermal circuit, healing from the inside out through massages, body treatments, facials, and beyond. These are mindfully paired with menu options from our adaptogenic and vegan café, continuing our commitment to locality by using ingredients sourced from the region when possible.
The SABBYA experience is finished with a nail, lash, and Brow bar alongside a curated gallery and boutique, including Kaia Naturals, Local-Pure, Smellies, Supercrush, Baltic Club, and more, also spotlighting artists, artisans, and creators from Quebec and Canada.
