Broadband Light (BBL) - Phototherapy addresses a range of skin concerns including acne, rosacea and redness, age spots, sun damage, fine lines, enlarged pores, hyperpigmentation, and uneven texture to restore a youthful, smoother, and brighter appearance. This non-surgical procedure can also treat spider veins and other small blood vessels, as well as broken capillaries and vascular lesions.
Forever Young BBL™️ is typically used on the face, neck, hands, and chest, but it can treat the legs and other areas as well. Often called a photofacial, this photorejuvenation technology stimulates new collagen production to give the skin a firmer, smoother appearance and more even tone. This is a non-invasive and gentle procedure with minimal downtime*.
Forever Clear BBL™️ is typically used on the face, but it can treat other areas as well. Forever Clear BBL uses a combination of blue, yellow, and infrared light to eliminate bacteria, reduce inflammation, and promote the body’s natural healing process to clear acne. This process involves 3 total passes of the device over the treatment area. The first pass uses blue light to eliminate acne-causing bacteria located deep within the skin’s pores. The second pass uses yellow light to reduce inflammation and acne-associated redness while preventing new breakouts. To maximize results, the skin receives a third pass using infra-red light in rapid, gentle pulses to initiate the body’s natural healing process, reduce the appearance of existing scars, and enhance the benefits of the first two steps.

During your initial consultation, we will evaluate your skin and create a custom Forever Young BBL™️ or Forever Clear BBL™️ treatment plan to meet your goals. FOREVER YOUNG BBL™️: WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Consultation
In your initial consultation, your SABBYA clinician will take high-resolution photos of your face to help determine the best treatment plan. At this time, they will go over what to expect, side effects, and expected results.
2. Cleanse the skin
Before the procedure, the treated area(s) will be cleansed and a clear gel will be applied. Our experts assess skin and mark/cover any areas to be avoided such as moles, permanent makeup, tattoos, and the like.
3. Further safety preparation
A headband is placed to provide a clearer working surface and protective eyewear will be provided to be worn during the entire treatment.
4. Deliver the light
Light is delivered to the skin's surface in precise pulses across the treatment area. The light will appear bright, even with the protective eyewear. Your procedure may take a few minutes to an hour, depending on the size of the area being treated. The pulses have been described by some patients as feeling like snapping of an elastic band.
5. Hydration and sun protection
After your treatment is complete, the clear gel is cleansed and a hydrating cream and sunblock are applied.
6. Post treatment
The treatment area may appear red or flushed, which usually fades within a few hours. Individuals with prominent pigmentation may notice that brown areas become temporarily darker for 10 to 14 days. For Forever Young BBL™️, there is virtually no post care needed.
